Working with my hands is something I genuinely enjoy. Wire material allows me to put pressure on the art I am making and helps as anger therapy. Creating wearable art also allows me to develop physical vestments to be proud of and share.
Betty's Jam is a collection of my wearable art influenced by the freedom music brings me. Music influences all aspects of my life, especially my mood. Specifically, jam band music is the most expressive form in my opinion. The original jam band-The Grateful Dead- was something I was raised on. The name Betty is a name my parents refer to me. The rest is history.
I create butterfly jewelry, crystal-wrapped necklaces, wooden bead bracelets, and glass-wrapped necklaces. In recent months, Betty's Jam has sold at Jam band shows and other live music events in Bloomington, IN.
